My Library Card Has Expired, How Can I Renew It?

Answer

Your library card expires every year on your birthday.  You can have your card updated one of the following ways:

  1. Call the library, 989-773-3242 x202.  We will need your library card number, or your driver's license number in order to access your account over the phone.  Once we have accessed your account, we will ask you to verify your current address.  If your address is still in district, we will be happy to renew your account.

  2. Use our "Ask the Librarian" service found here.  Send us either your library card number or your driver's license number, and your current address.  We can then access your account and renew it.  You will receive an email response when your account has been renewed.

Why does your library card expire every year?  We do this because we are a library district supported by taxes, so we need to check to be sure you are still living within our library service district.
