How can I add more libraries to my Libby account?

Access thousands more items in Libby by adding our partner libraries to your account!


Answer

To add a partner library collections to your Libby account, open the Libby app on your device or sign in to libbyapp.com

  1. Click the three horizontal lines MENU button in the bottom-center of the screen.
  2. Select “Add Library.”
  3. Search for one of our partner libraries in the search box and select the matching library.
  4. When prompted to add a library card, select “Sign In With My Card.”
  5. When asked where you use your library card, select “MMLC – Chippewa River District Library” under Partner Libraries
  6. Enter your card number in the textbox and click the Next button.
  7. Enter your PIN, usually the last 4 digits of your phone number, in the PIN textbox and click Sign In.
    1. If your PIN does not work, you can call the library to have it reset.
  8. An image of a library card will be shown once it has been added. Click Next to begin browsing the library partner’s Libby collection.

The collection currently being browsed is designated in the circular logo in the upper-right. To switch the collection you’re browsing, click the circular logo and select one of the other collections under “Your Libraries.”
